CUAIL Privacy Policy (Beta)

- Your designs are private. Your projects are files on your PC and stay there. A design reaches our servers only when you send it: a board you route on our servers goes without its silk, 3D models, symbols or part numbers, and is deleted when you collect the result, or after 7 days. We do not use or keep designs to train AI models, or for anything else.
- CUAIL on your PC sends no usage metrics and no crash reports. It checks for updates, and it talks to our servers only when you sign in, search or copy parts from the online library, or route a board on our servers.
- Sharing a design with us: only with your consent. If sharing a design would help, for example when you report a bug or a failure, we will ask you first, each time, and use it only to find and fix that problem.
- What we store: your email address, display name, the parts you copy or save to your account, projects and 3D model files you made in the earlier web version of CUAIL until you delete them, and, if you pay, your billing and invoice details.
- Usage metrics: the cuail.com website counts how many minutes it is used, by the minute. We use that to size our servers, backup systems and routing and simulation pools. We use no third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
- Where: accounts and their data run on Supabase in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). Our website, online library and routing and simulation servers run on our own servers at Hetzner in the EU.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We never see your card details; we keep your billing name, address, VAT number and invoices.
- Errors: if a cuail.com page fails in your browser, the error message and your browser version are sent to our own server logs so we can fix it.
- Email: we send sign-in and account emails, the link that confirms your address when you create an account, invites, a reminder before a trial ends or a plan renews, and CUAIL news only if you asked for it. They come from noreply@cuail.com, sent through Resend.
- Deletion: deleting your account removes your sign-in, your details, your saved parts, your invoice details and the copies of your invoices on your account page. Electron Plus keeps the invoices themselves, as the law requires. Projects on your PC are yours to keep or delete.
